Our client is a one-stop solution platform based in Dubai – UAE supplying all the Installation related equipment for LPG, Cryogenic, Medical, HVAC , Oil & Gas and MEP tools, equipment, hardware, pipes & fittings, fasteners, and many other Industrial Products & Services.
The client stocks & sells more than 100+ brands & its growing, out of that we represent more than 40+ brands on Exclusive basis from across the world backed by manufacturer’s warranties, large inventory to cut down the lead time for faster delivery with inhouse distribution network & our tie-up with international courier and logistics companies allowing us to ship the goods across the globe.
Business Challenges
The client had a WordPress website for promoting their products to customers. The ecommerce website didn’t allow for a lot of customization and adding their huge set of products was complicated, and also slowed down the website performance. This impacted the client’s sales cycle and customer experience badly. The client was interested in hiring a well-established ecommerce web application development company in India for Magento website development from WordPress platform. The aim is to manage the products on the website seamlessly while improving customer experience.
The Approach
Identifying the right technology (Magento) was a major challenge encountered and the other challenges were to create a Home page UI (especially the mega menu); developing the Distributor portal (Both admin and user); backend coding; developing a Product rental option.
As we have already worked with the client for a different project and our ecommerce app developers with proficiency over Magento website development discovered quickly what kind of solution will work for them. This helped us to partner with the client for the third time.
Solution
The first step was to migrate the website from the WordPress platform to Magento. We developed an eCommerce website using Magento to ensure the website’s navigation, security, and performance is elevated, at the same time adding any number of products without any discomfort.
Being a renowned web application development company, we split up the solution development part into two phases.
